The Embrace Ambition Summit is a one-day in person and virtual event to address the double standard that exists around ambition, challenges stereotypes and unconscious bias on race, gender, sexuality and more.
The Embrace Ambition Summit is on Tuesday, June 14, 2022.
The event will be both in person and virtual. In-person attendance will be held at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall at 60th and Broadway (Columbus Circle) in New York City.

Applications were open from March 1, 2022 at 12:00 AM ET to March 31, 2022 at 11:59 PM ET. Please note that all attendees are responsible for their travel and accommodations. Proof of vaccination is required to attend. Please see below for further health and safety requirements for in-person attendance.
You must be 18 years or older on or before March 31, 2022 to apply to attend.
All ages are welcome to register to attend virtually. For those under 18 years old, we encourage you to watch with a trusted guardian.
You will be notified by email the week of April 18, 2022.
Applicant selections are non-transferable. If you can no longer attend after you have registered, please be sure to cancel your registration.
The Summit is free of charge to attendees. Please note that all travel and accommodations are the responsibility of the attendee.
Tickets will not be distributed in advance. Please bring a valid form of identification to the event. After checking in, you will receive an event credential granting you access to the space.
Yes! We will provide a light breakfast and boxed lunch. All guests are invited to attend a cocktail hour after the program. Dietary restrictions will be accommodated.
Clothes that make you feel great. Coat check will be provided.
To reach Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall, go to the Deutsche Bank Center and enter on 58th St., 60th St., or at Columbus Circle. Please be ready to show proof of vaccination prior to taking the Jazz Elevators near the 60th St. entrance and proceed to the fourth floor, where you will find the check-in location before entering the venue.

The Summit will consist of six sessions covering an array of topics and feature presentations, two- to three-person conversations, storytelling and live performances. Speakers will include well-known individuals from business, sports, Hollywood, comedy, academia and politics. The Summit will conclude with takeaways for addressing and overcoming stereotypes.
For in-person attendees, during session breaks, there will be a marketplace featuring women entrepreneurs and interactive stations. Virtual attendees will receive access to bonus content and community building.
This is a single-track program that takes place on one main stage. There will be no separate breakout sessions.

Approved face masks are required at all times, except while actively eating and drinking in designated areas. If you are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, or have been exposed to anyone with Covid-19 within 14-days of the event, or have been instructed to self-isolate within the last ten days, we ask that you stay home.
Masks are required in all public spaces, except while eating or drinking in designated locations. Masks must completely cover the mouth and nose. Scarves, neck gaiters, shirts pulled up, masks with holes/filters/breathing valves and makeshift masks are not acceptable.
Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall continue to monitor federal, state, and city guidelines for health and safety. These include, but are not limited to, meeting HVAC system requirements, enhanced cleaning procedures, and providing hand sanitizer. Rose Hall have HVAC systems utilizing MERV-13 hospital-grade filtration providing healthy, code-compliant indoor air quality. The venue is executing enhanced cleaning procedures of all restrooms and public touchpoints, including tables, chairs, elevators, and handrails. JALC has made hand sanitizing stations available throughout the venue.
